By implementing these dribbling combo moves into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your shooting scoring and your overall basketball skill level!
My first tip to getting an elite handle is "ball control"! This is absolutely something that every elite ball-handler in the NBA does think of guys like Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard, and Stephen Curry. All these top tier point guards do a phenomenal job at having ball control no matter what situation they are in they always have the ball on a string. In this section, I take you through my top tips to optimize your ball control so you can develop an ankle-breaking handle just like some of the top NBA point guards. So if you want to really skyrocket your scoring you absolutely need to implement more ball control drills into your basketball workouts.
My second major key to having a shifty handle is to master, "hand speed". This is an incredibly crucial part of becoming an elite ball-handler. By working on your hand speed you are training your body to be able to react quickly in live gameplay scenarios. Think of the hand speed of Kyrie Irving to make quick decisions to elude the defense while breaking ankles. I take you through the top basketball drills to help you improve your ball handling and increase your hand speed.
My third tip to getting a shifty handle is, "off-hand development". This is a huge part of being the best ball-handler you can be. You need to be able to handle the ball with both hands so no matter how the defense plays you, you can always make a play. If we think of the top scorers in the NBA today they all have mastered the ability to handle both hands making their offensive ability that more potent. Think of guys like Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry they are huge threats offensively simply because they can beat you in a million different ways. Their off-hand development plays a huge part in them being the type of scorers they are.
