After Liverpool's 1-1 draw vs. Man City, Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola voiced their support for a five-substitution policy going forward in the Premier League. However, it was not without some pushback from Aston Villa manager Dean Smith. ESPN FC's Shaka Hislop, Steve Nicol and Frank Leboeuf examine both sides of the argument including the benefit to clubs who face fixture-congestion like Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester, Man United Arsenal and Tottenham. On the flip side, the guys sympathise with Dean Smith and Aston Villa who don't have as deep a bench or as big a budget as the Premier League top six.
