Jalen Rose suggests that ever since the trade talks for New Orleans Pelicans’ Anthony Davis became public, it tore up the Los Angeles Lakers’ locker and because they are in the Western Conference, predicts they will miss the playoffs. Jay Williams credits Los Angeles’ poor defensive play as a key reason why he thinks they will miss out on the postseason. Jalen adds that if in fact the Lakers do miss the playoffs, the value for their young players goes down if they were to try and swing a trade for Davis in the offseason.
