In this episode of Baseball Bits, a Foolish Baseball production, I present my thesis that 2011-2017 was prime Clayton Kershaw. Prime Kershaw was certainly a sight to behold, and he compare him to other pitchers like prime Pedro Martinez. For my money, 2014 Clayton Kershaw was one of the greatest seasons ever.

I also talk about his slider. That nasty Clayton Kershaw slider really opened the floodgates for years of dominance.

We also talk about the best pitcher's of the 2010s -- namely Kershaw, Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer, and Chris Sale. We compare the last three to peak Clayton Kershaw.

You'd think with a Clayton Kershaw MVP and three Clayton Kershaw Cy Young seasons that there'd be nothing left to play for in his career, but we're far from it. We have seen Clayton Kershaw playoffs struggles time and time again, so he'll have an incomplete legacy until he can circumvent his Clayton Kershaw playoff struggles and Clayton Kershaw playoff chokes. Will the Clayton Kershaw Dodgers get it done in 2019? We'll have to wait and find out.
