Zinedine Zidane's men were unable to complete a turn around following a disastrous first half that saw mistakes from the Madrid defence from the likes of Raphael Varane, Marcelo and Diego Milito. With El Clasico around the corner, Gab Marcotti believes Zidane should be forgiven for dropping the likes of Toni Kroos and Karim Benzema in preparation for Barcelona, however Kirkland wouldn't be surprised if Zidane walked away from the Bernabeu if results don't improve.
