Sam Cooley defeated Tom Daugherty in a roll-off. Cristian Azcona picked up the 3-4-6-7 split before eliminating EJ Tackett in a roll-off. François Lavoie won a roll-off to get by defending champion Bill O'Neill. Top seed Kyle Troup swept Thomas Larsen, 2-0.
