Garrett Reynolds Breaks All Time X Games Gold Medal Record

Garrett has done it. He's finally overtaken Shawn White (the multi-disciplined action sports icon that has held the title for nearly 9 years) yea... that guy! The record was taken by Garrett as a result of his win at BMX Street during X Games Chiba 2024.

Garrett’s Street stats are staggering: He’s podium perfect, with 16 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze -- he’s taken a medal all 19 times BMX Street has been contested at X Games. Reynolds has sole possession of one of the biggest records in action sports in sight: Most X Games gold. Garrett currently is tied with Shaun White at 15. Garrett's influence goes way beyond his video parts and performances at X Games: As the founder of Fiend BMX, he's helped shape the BMX industry, from quality entry-level complete bikes to super niche pro frames and parts. Most important to him is supporting a team of riders, and he’s just as excited for their success as he is his own.
