Dylan Cunha is the youngest trainer to win a Group 1 race in his native South Africa, recording the achievement at the age of just 28 when preparing Strategic News to win the 2007 Summer Cup. He took a break from training shortly after to become an airline pilot, quickly working his way up to fly for South Africa's biggest airline, Mango Airways.
After Covid-19 ended his airline career, he and his family emigrated to the UK to set up a training establishment at Phantom House Stables in Newmarket. Dylan has quickly made a name for himself on these shores and has lofty ambitions for his rapidly expanding yard.
