In the opening round of the 2019 Valspar Championship, Joel Dahmen and Sepp Straka both carded 5-under 66’s, tying them atop the leaderboard after 18 holes and giving them a one-stroke lead over the field heading into Friday.

The Valspar Championship is held on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Florida. In 2018, Paul Casey closed with a 6-under 65 and won the tournament as Tiger Woods came up one putt short of forcing a playoff.
