The Baseball Bat Bros try out the new 2020 Mizuno BBCORs - the B20 MAXCOR and the B20 Hot Metal.
Some crazy technology going on here - the first bat we've ever come across with a SQUISHY BARREL!!

We'll have to see how these perform in BAT MADNESS.

2020 Mizuno B20 MAXCOR:
-Very light swinging & balanced.
-2-piece hybrid - composite handle, alloy/rubber barrel.
-Pretty small sweet spot
-Didn't perform very well on mishits
-Stiff - almost no flex - will ring up your hands a little bit.
-A gnarly crack/pop sound.
-Pretty impressive pop on the sweet spot for how light swinging it was
-$300 - low price for a 2-piece hybrid

Mizuno's description of the squishy barrel:
"The B20-MAXCOR Hot Metal (Drop 3) BBCOR Baseball Bat stands out with increased spin rates due to its unique Dual Density VP Sleeve + HotMetal™ core construction, which also creates a wider sweet spot for more power and distance on every swing."

2020 Mizuno B20 Hot Metal:
-Slight endload
-1-piece alloy
-Decent performance on mishits
-Pretty average sweet spot for a 1-piece
-Stiff - no flex - will ring up your hands a little bit.
-Standard aluminum ping
-Decent pop/carry distance
-Only $200

By supporting us, you'll help us:
1) Buy new baseballs! We lose tons of baseballs during the videos from foul balls, dingers, and kids that steal them - and we use nice game balls so they're like $5 a pop. Each dozen costs about $60 and with your support we can buy new baseballs every month.
2) Buy bats! We get a lot of our bats for free, but sometimes companies just deny us when we reach out to them, so we have to buy the bat if we're gonna review it. And we want to be able to review every bat out there for you guys! Even with companies that have sent us a free bat in the past, sometimes they don't like our brutal honesty and they won't send us bats anymore - and we could use your support to help us buy those bats. Again - we do this for the PEOPLE - not the bat companies.
3) Hire professional hitters to be in our videos!
4) Pay for operating costs like our website, camera equipment, etc.
