Kurt Angle is ‘grateful’ to retire at WrestleMania 35 | WWE on ESPN

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle discusses his emotions as he heads into his final match against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. Angle looks back at his time at the Olympics, saying he would not be where he is today without winning a gold medal and would love to be recognized more for that. Angle praises fellow superstars AJ Styles and Samoa Joe for their journeys to get to the WWE, even if it took them a little longer to get there. Angle also gives props to Corbin and says that he has a bright future in this company. Angle iterates that he will miss being in the ring, but knows the time has come for him to call it quits.
