Kyrie Irving holding off shoulder surgery for now | NBA Sound

Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving provides an update on the status of his shoulder injury and where he is at in his recovery. Irving says he was advised that the next step in the process was to either get a cortisone shot or have surgery and doesn’t rule out having that procedure in the future. Irving adds that when he does return to the Nets, he hopes to help the team makes a playoff run, but knows he has to be realistic with the injuries the team is dealing with. (8:50) In regards to missing his return to Boston, Irving explains that to focus on that game was turned to him, but states he has nothing but love for the Celtics organization.
