LeBron James made history in Madison Square Garden passing Mark Jackson and Steve Nash for fourth place on the all-time assists leaderboard. He is the 5th player in the shot-clock era to rank top 5 in both career points and assists at the same time, joining Bob Cousy, Dolph Schayes, Jerry West and Oscar Robertson. Prior to James, Robertson was the most recent to do this, falling out of the top 5 in points in 1996-97 when Michael Jordan surpassed him.

Additionally, LeBron James has scored 20+ points in 33 straight games, the longest streak by a Lakers player since Kobe Bryant in 2005-06 and is the first player in NBA history to record a triple-double in their 20th season or later.
