Long Burnouts, wheelies, Gassers, altered and Front Engine Dragsters all come together at this event every year and put on a great show down the 1/4 Mile Drag Strip. This is the "Glory Days" Vintage Drag Racing event that is held at Byron Dragway in Byron, Illinois every year around Mid July time frame.

It is great you will see lots of Vintage Drag Racing cars that are as close to period correct as they can get and still run fast and safe. There is also a swap meet and car show at this event. I enjoy going to it every year.
