After two years of the Education City Golf Club playing host to the event, the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters returns to a new-look Doha Golf Club for 2022. 2021 winner Antoine Rozner heads to Qatar’s capital city looking to build upon his recent good form that saw him shoot three rounds under-70 at last week’s Steyn City Championship. 2018 Ryder Cup winner Thorbjørn Olesen returns to Qatar for the first time in four years looking for his first victory on the DP World Tour since the Italian Open in 2018. Currently 64th in the world, South African Dean Burmester is hoping that a good finish at this week’s event will get him closer to a top 50 ranking which will grant him automatic qualification into The Masters which starts the second week of April.
