These are the last few weeks of the incredible Bundesliga career of Claudio Pizarro and maybe also for Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga. The Matchday 34 scenario is relatively straightforward. One of either Fortuna Düsseldorf or Werder Bremen are heading for the play-offs, with the other dropping directly down to Bundesliga 2. Düsseldorf, with a two-point and four-goal cushion, are away to 1. FC Union Berlin; Bremen need to beat 1. FC Köln at home and hope for the best. Whoever comes through that will then face 1.
