Russell Westbrook registered his 33rd triple-double of the season (137th of his career) with 29 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the Thunder, while George added 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals in the victory. James Harden recorded 39 points (11-27 FG, 5-14 3pt FG) and 10 rebounds for the Rockets in the losing effort. Harden finished the regular season averaging 36.1 PPG, 6.6 RPG and 7.6 APG to become the first player in NBA history to average 35+ PPG and 7+ APG. Harden also joins Michael Jordan (1988-89) as the only players to have averaged at least 30.0 PPG, 7.0 APG, 6.0 RPG and 2.0 SPG in a single season. Additionally, Harden finished the regular season with the 10th most points scored in a single season in NBA history (2,818 total points).
