The DP World Tour's Opening Swing stays in Australia this week as the Kingston Heath Golf Club and The Victoria Golf Club host the ISPS HANDA Australian Open. Joaquin Niemann returns to defend the title he won 12 months ago. He’s been inconsistent this year in major championships with a highest finish of 22T at the Masters. But The Chilean hit form at the end of the season with a 9T finish at the Olympics, 4T at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and 7T at the DP World Tour Championship. Cam Smith will also be in the field this week. He played well for a 6T finish at the Masters in April but struggled to continue this form finishing 133T at the Open Championship, 32T at the U.S Open and 63T at the PGA Championship. Smith claimed second place last week at the Australian PGA Championship. Min Woo Lee will also fancy his chances this week. He finished 15T last week and has been in good form recently, claiming consecutive top 25s at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and DP World Championship and missing just two cuts since the Masters - where he also had a top 25. Others to look out for are Victor Perez, Marc Leishman and Lucas Herbert.
