The DP World Tour’s UK swing continues this week with a third visit to Scotland this month as the 2022 Hero Open returns to Fairmont St Andrews. Grant Forrest is back to defend his title in front of home crowds, countryman Richie Ramsay will look to build on his emotional victory last week, while Ryan Fox is looking to maintain his excellent season so far with another title challenge. Two-time DP World Tour winner Fox will be eager to return to the form that saw him register three top five finishes in his five events prior to the final Major Championship of the season at the Home of Golf. The New Zealander won the Ras Al Khaimah Classic in February, which heralded the start of a phenomenal run of form that has seen him rise from outside the top 200 in the Official World Golf Ranking to inside the top 50. Richie Ramsay is sure to draw big crowds this week on home soil as he looks to maintain the momentum gained from his dramatic victory in the Cazoo Classic at Hillside Golf Club last week. The title in Southport has propelled the Scot to 20th in the DP World Tour Rankings, and once again back on the familiar surroundings of links he will be hopeful of mounting another title challenge.
