Following the excitement and fanfare created by the UEFA Champions League's single-elimination knockout rounds in Lisbon, ESPN FC's Kay Murray and Craig Burley question if the competition should abandon the two-legged format altogether. Burley admits the tournament style of the knockout rounds did add an aspect of urgency to the games, but also looks back on last year's competition and the stunning comebacks by Liverpool vs. Barcelona and Tottenham vs. Ajax. Burley also feels the neutral venues in the single elimination games would not be conducive to fans when they are allowed back into stadiums.
