The full story of Fernando Alonso’s strange-looking Aston Martin F1 debut

Formula 1’s final on-track action of 2022 was the post-season test in Abu Dhabi, which has the unique double effect of signing off the current season and giving us a sneak peek for next year.
It’s always fun spotting drivers turning out for their new teams and Fernando Alonso took that to the extreme with Aston Martin, which had to run him in a completely unbranded car.
Despite the strange looking car, it was all serious business behind the scenes, which our reporters were there to witness and we can now tell you about in this video.
