Noah Hanifin was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights by the Calgary Flames in a three-way trade that included the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday. In exchange for the 27-year-old defenseman Calgary received a first-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, defenseman Daniil Miromanov, and a conditional third-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. Calgary will retain 50 percent of Hanifin's salary.
If Vegas wins a round in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the third-round pick becomes a second-round pick. The Flyers received a fifth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.
