Werder Bremen produced an incredible display in their final home game against 1. FC Köln. Bremen were two points behind Fortuna Düsseldorf in the play-off spot. Only a win for Bremen could keep their hopes of staying up alive. Ideally, Werder needed to win by a large margin. A draw for Düsseldorf and a win for Werder would put the two clubs level on points. Goal difference would then be decisive and Bremen were four goals worse off before the game. Werder certainly put on a show – with Yuya Osako on fire, they brushed Köln aside with a 6-1 victory. As Düsseldorf lost 3-0 at Union Berlin at the same time, Bremen go into the Bundesliga play-offs after a brilliant display. Enjoy the Werder show with all seven goals.
