'Why EXPOSE Gareth Bale, Mourinho's management of Bale is just wrong!' - Laurens | ESPN FC

ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti and Julien Laurens (The Gab and Juls show) discuss the fallout from Tottenham's 5-4 loss in the FA Cup to Everton. Both teams played a very open game in which 5 goals were scored in the first half, however Jose Mourinho's Spurs were knocked out at the end of extra time, following a goal by Bernard. Marcotti questions Mourinho's explanation as to why Gareth Bale didn't make the squad, Mourinho decided to reveal Bale had asked to go for a scan and miss the game. Laurens feels Mourinho is managing Bale wrongly and has seen many examples of late that isn't fair to the player. Mourinho refused to give an answer as to why Bale was an unused substitute in Tottenham's previous game and allegedly was also heard asking Bale in training if he would prefer to not play football back at Real Madrid.
