Sebastian Vettel heads into his second Aston Martin season in 2022 with his future uncertain and the team hoping for a big upturn in form after last year’s struggles.

The four-times world champion’s contract is up at the end of the season, meaning there’s no guarantee he will continue with Aston Martin - or indeed in Formula 1 - beyond the end of the year.

That makes 2022 a hugely significant season not just for Vettel, but also for Aston Martin.
