Sergio Perez has scored better results than any of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull team-mates since Daniel Ricciardo in 2018, but there’s a growing body of evidence that suggests his performances are dropping off at an alarming rate.
This should be cause for concern at Red Bull. But it turns out the team is actually complicit in creating a situation where Perez is now looking a less convincing driver than the one he replaced at the end of 2020.
Could and should his future place in this team be in jeopardy?
