The European Tour’s Race to Dubai heads to Meloneras Golf for the Gran Canaria Lopesan Open. The inaugural event promises to be an exciting test but who will be crowned champion? Local hero Rafa Cabrera Bello is returning to host the tournament and as you’d expect, he knows the course well. The tees were built especially for the Spaniard to practice on during his time at home and are known as “Rafa” tee’s. Sam Horsfield is another favourite after posting two top 10’s in Kenya and finishing 15th in Austria last week. The 24-year-old grew up in Florida so will be used to the weather and grass in Gran Canaria. American Kurt Kitayama has been in good form this season and has two previous European Tour wins at similar seaside events (Mauritius Open and Oman Open), while the likes of Antoine Rozner, Calum Hill and Guido Migliozzi round out an impressive field.

Welcome to the Official YouTube channel of the European Tour. Every week you can find extended tournament highlights and individual player highlights from the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood in events on the Race to Dubai. This is also the home of the 14 Club Challenge, Little Interviews, Fastest Hole and many more challenges, pranks and world record attempts featuring the biggest golfers in the world.
