Alexander-Arnold was dropped for the last round of England fixtures before the Euros, which has Julien Laurens thinking he’s not going to be selected in Gareth Southgate’s squad. Jurgen Klopp publicly questioned Southgate's decision and described Trent as being devastated by the news. Alexander-Arnold impressed in Liverpool's latest Premier League win against Arsenal, Liverpool won 3-0 thanks to two goals by super-sub Diogo Jota and a Mohamed Salah strike, with Alexander-Arnold getting an assist for the first goal.
