The Kingdom of Bahrain, a desert island nation in the Persian Gulf, has long been a trailblazer in F1 - its inaugural Grand Prix in 2004 - the first in the Middle East, held at the imposing Bahrain International Circuit.

But, it will again break the mould in 2020 with Bahrain hosting two events - held back-to-back on two different layouts. And behind closed doors, with limited grandstand tickets for “families of frontline health workers and first responders” involved in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
