The European Tour’s Race to Dubai continues this week with the Canary Islands Championship. The inaugural event is the final of three staged in the Canary Islands Swing and the second consecutive week at Costa Adeje, but who will be crowned champion? Kalle Samooja is getting ever closer to his maiden European Tour win, having recorded two runners-up finishes, two thirds and a fourth since the summer of 2019. After finishing tied-third last week, the Finn will be looking to go a few steps further on the same course this week. Garrick Higgo has been in fine form with a fourth in Austria, a record-setting win in Gran Canaria and a tied-8th last week. Meanwhile, Dean Burmester will be looking to pick up where he left off, having brought the venue to its knees with his -25 total for a first win in four years. Other names to watch out for include Sean Crocker, Calum Hill and Sami Valimaki. Game on!
