Rule #1: Returning the shuttle to the front , Move a bit backward. But be ready if they put it to the net again.
Rule #2: On offensive returns - Get ready to move fast on the next shuttle
Rule #3: Move backward on defensive returns to cover the full court
Rule #4: You can stay longer back when putting it to the net.
Rule #5: Get back to cover the full court when making a high stroke towards the rear court.
