Black History at the Kia Oval: Celebrating the African-Caribbean Heritage in South London

Chevy Green, Director of Programmes for the Ace Programme, takes us on an exclusive tour of the famous Kia Oval for #BlackHistoryMonth.

During the tour, he gives incredible insight into the iconic matches, players and moments from the past to the present and how the Kia Oval and Surrey CCC continues to be a hub for the South London Black community in inspiring the next generation of Black cricketers. From Sir Vivian Richards, Michael Holding and Alex Tudor through to Ebony Rainford-Brent, Chris Jordan and Sophia Dunkley, there are plenty of heroes to celebrate.
