Brendan Lawlor gives a young fan the surprise day of his life

G4D Tour star Brendan Lawlor surprised 15-year-old Conal Flynn at home after he reached out to say how much Brendan had inspired him, before inviting Conal to join him at the Horizon Irish Open for a truly special day at the K Club.

Conal lives with Achondroplasia which results in shortened limbs, and reached out to Brendan Lawlor on Instagram to say that he had been inspired to get into golf following the example that Brendan had set both on and off the course.

Brendan, with the help of Horizon, decided to pay a surprise visit to Conal at his home in Kilcolgan, Co. Galway, Ireland. The pair played a round of golf at Conal’s local course, Athenry Golf Club, before Brendan had another surprise for Conal, inviting him to the 2023 Horizon Irish Open at the K Club. There Brendan gave him a tour of the event, even bringing Conal onto the driving range to meet some more of his heroes including Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington.
