Manchester City have now gone seven games unbeaten since their embarrassing 5-2 defeat to Leicester City a month ago, so have they finally turned a corner? ESPN’s Steve Nicol isn’t so sure because he thinks their problems in the final third remain despite controlling possession as per usual. Nicol also lays into Kyle Walker for not celebrating scoring a goal on his 100th appearance for Man City, and says if he had scored against Liverpool while playing for Sheffield Wednesday he would “absolutely” have celebrated in front of the Kop.
