Former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, current manager Jurgen Klopp and former France international Thierry Henry pay tribute to Gerard Houllier, who has passed away aged 73. A clearly emotional Gerrard says Houllier was ‘a special man’ who helped him to grow as a player and a person. Klopp says Houllier was an excellent coach and an ‘even better human being’ who will be remembered as a true legend of Liverpool, with Thierry Henry adding that it is a sad time for French football.
