F1 will, barring any unexpected setbacks, have a brand new team on the grid in 2026.

That's right: the championship has reached an agreement in principle with General Motors and its Cadillac brand to become an 11th team after all - despite EVERY application for a new entry previously being rejected by the FIA, F1, or both.

But wasn't Cadillac one of those teams F1 rejected? And isn't Andretti's absence conspicuous in all of this?
