Renault F1 Team today confirmed that Fernando Alonso is returning to Formula 1, next season in 2021 alongside Esteban Ocon. It is a bold statement of intent from Renault, who were left without a star driver when Daniel Ricciardo announced he would be leaving the project at the end of the year for McLaren, and highlights their commitment to fighting back to the front.
