EJ Tackett and Marshall Kent opened the WSOB with a win in the Roth/Holman Doubles Championship. Kris Prather won the PBA World Championship for his second major title. Kyle Sherman won his first singles title in the PBA Cheetah Championship. Jason Belmonte added his 28th career title and third of the season in the PBA Scorpion Championship. Keven Williams won the PBA Shark Championship as his first ever title.
