Sean Rash earned the Snickers satisfying moment with a messenger in his game against Shawn Maldonado. Maldonado and Jones went to a rolloff with strange results in the opening match on the stepladder. Dom Barrett converted a washout and then a 3-6-10 unconventionally in consecutive frames of the semifinal match. Barrett shot 279 against Maldonado. Barrett became the eighth player in PBA history to complete the Triple Crown, defeating top seed Kris Prather in the championship match.
