Laura Collett was part of the gold medal winning eventing team at the Tokyo Olympics, but attended Ascot Racecourse on British Champions Day to see a former resident of her yard. Trainer William Haggas sent a naughty racehorse, Dubai Honour, to her for training in early 2021. Laura used her skills as a rider and extensive knowledge of horses and training to get the horse to work with the rider. Since returning to Haggas, Dubai Honour has won three times, once at Newmarket and twice at Group 2 level in France (in the Prix Guillaume d'Ornano - Haras du Logis Saint-Germain at Deauville and the Prix Dollar at Longchamp).

Laura was in attendance at Ascot on Champions Day to see Dubai Honour race in the Group 1 Champions Stakes under James Doyle, where he finished a close second to French contender Sealiway.

Dubai Honour now holds an entry at HKIR at Hong Kong in December.
