Lewis Hamilton's move to Ferrari was announced way back in February 2024. With the Formula 1 season finally done and dusted, and Hamilton having had the chance to say his farewells to the Mercedes team, finally we're learning more about how Ferrari is preparing for his arrival.

Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur was particularly careful to shrug off questions about Hamilton during the season. Always one to play his cards close to his chest, Vasseur had the standard reaction of focusing on the now and Ferrari's campaign. With Hamilton's arrival imminent, Vasseur's revealed more about the approach the team will take.

That's not to say he's giving everything away. And this is, in itself, revealing as it demonstrates the importance placed on Hamilton's arrival being kept as low-key as possible.
