In general badminton rackets only have 3 things that matters when it comes to choose the right racket!
1) The Balance
2) Weight
3) Stiffness
The balance point is very crucial in determining whether it's a double racket or a single racket.
We normally tend to say:
Single = Head Heavy
Double = Head light
The weight of the racket is also crucial when it comes to power and your ability to move it fast.
Single = Heavier (80-90g)
Double = A bit lighter (75-85g)
The stiffness is dependable on your ability to create power with your upper body and ultimately the racket! If it's easy for you to create power, i would recommend a stiff racket. If it's difficult to generate power, i would recommend a flexible racket.
- that's why i tend to say it depends on the players skill.
