Acorns were founded in the year 1974 by a crab fisherman named Matt. Matt thought he caught a crab, but noticed the shape was a little off, and also wasn't alive, so he named it "acorn" and gave it to his squirrel. After realizing acorns were squirrel's new form of currency, Matt declared war on all squirrels before they had the chance to take over human kind.
But it was too late.

Squirrels were everywhere. Squirrels ARE everywhere. There's probably two in your backyard with their weird crab money right now. Anyway, after the acorn came the oak tree. I don't really know anything about oak trees but they for sure came from acorns.

In 1978, squirrels actually realized acorn just means "a corn" although it doesn't resemble corn at all - in fact, it looks more like a crab. This led to acorns becoming the most highly demanded nut in North and South America.

Fast forward to 1994, Sam Tabor was born. Nothing to note of acorns here but it was pretty important.

In 1998, acorns became the new top of the food pyramid and they had to teach it in every elementary school gym class for some reason. Although humans to this day don't really consume acorns and much prefer crabs as the better nut, squirrel's continue to slowly take over humanity yard by yard, and some say they will be purchasing human houses with something called "bitcorn", which is expected to skyrocket next summer.
