Aston Martin has a new Formula 1 team boss, and it’s someone you might not be all that familiar with.

Former BMW Motorsport chief Mike Krack has been recruited to replace Otmar Szafnauer, with Aston Martin opting to look outside the F1 bubble to find the best candidate.

He is a man with considerable F1 experience from the past, though, having spent years working his way to the highest level of engineering in grand prix racing.
