Callum Shinkwin will be looking for back-to-back European Tour wins at Aphrodite Hills Resort when the Cyprus Showdown begins on Thursday. The event will see 105 players compete over 36 holes, with a cut reducing the field to 32 ahead of Saturday's round with scores reset. Scores will then be reset again for the top 16 players to battle it out on Sunday. Shinkwin, winner of the Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Open over the same stunning layout last week, begins his opening round alongside Sweden's Marcus Kinhult and Finland's Sami Välimäki. The field also includes last week's runner-up Kalle Samooja and Former U.S. Open Championship winner Michael Campbell.
