Trained by American Wesley Ward, sprinting sensation Lady Aurelia recorded an emphatic victory in the 2016 Queen Mary Stakes at Ascot Racecourse, returning to win the King's Stand Stakes by an easy three lengths the following year.

She was a main player in the 2017 Nunthorpe Stakes at York Racecourse later that summer, crossing the line together with the Sir Mark Prescott trained Marsha, beaten a nose despite Frankie Dettori's winning celebrations.

Retried from horse racing in July 2018, Wesley Ward stated "She's been retired. It was a hard decision for me, it probably wasn't as hard for her owners."
