ESPN FC's Gab Marcotti and Julien Laurens react to Man City vs. Liverpool, in which neither Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp could lead their team to all three points. The Premier League champions took an early lead when City's Kyle Walker fouled Sadio Mane, allowing Mo Salah to convert from the spot. However Gabriel Jesus equalised for City, who were unlucky not to take all three points as Kevin De Bruyne missed from the penalty spot. Marcotti enjoyed the 'exceptional' game of football but questioned Guardiola’s tactics, while Laurens discusses his post-match chat with Andrew Robertson, who explained that Liverpool’s new-look formation was done to surprise Man City. Laurens however was not happy when both managers complained of fatigue and the want for 5 substitutions, especially as Pep Guardiola only used one player from the bench, bringing on Bernado Silva for Ferran Torres.
