The Heat outscored the Mavericks in the 4th quarter, 30-19, to overcome a 7-point deficit at the start of the quarter and earn a 105-99 victory tonight in Miami. Goran Dragic registered his 1st triple-double of the season (2nd of his career) with 23 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the Heat, while Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 19 points (6-18 FG), 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Additionally, Dwyane Wade recorded 11 points for the Heat and Dirk Nowitzki tallied 13 points for the Mavericks in the losing effort. With the win, the Heat improve to 37-38, while the Mavericks fall to 29-46 on the season.

The Heat now sit in the 8-seed in the Eastern Conference, 0.5 games ahead of the Magic and 0.5 games behind the 7-seed Nets. In addition, the Wizards are now eliminated from playoff contention.
