Going racing in UK requires you to own a long list of safety equipment. These start with the helmet and overalls, all the way down to a pair of gloves. Buying the equipment that fits you the best is most important, but also be aware that cheaper equipment is less for a reason. I talk you through my mistakes when buying racewear, before my first motor race in April 2019. Hopefully, this gives you an insight on how to buy the right equipment for you.

This is the start of a new era on my channel. In 2020 I will be taking part in a number of motorsport races and documenting the journey with detailed documentaries about my experiences. In the lead up to this, I am going to explain how to get involved with motorsport and the steps anyone would need to take to become an amateur racing driver.
