This is Pesäpallo, but what makes it unique? A 100 years ago, Laury “Tahko” Pihkala re-interpreted baseball after returning from the USA. Today, Pesäpallo is the national sport of Finland. Could Europe’s next baseball star evolve from this sport?

Filmed during the biggest Pesäpallo event of the year ITA LANSI, where the best players in Finland represent teams from the East and West.
